Playwork
Enriching childhoods through play
Our Level 2 to Level 5 playwork qualifications have been meticulously designed for anyone who wants to work with children or young people, or is already working with them.
Within the playwork sector, this means working with children or young people in a less structured or formal setting than a school or nursery. That can include in an after-school or holiday club, or in adventure playgrounds or youth groups. In each case, however, they are environments in which children and young people can be encouraged to challenge themselves through play, enabling them to learn about risk in a safe yet stimulating situation.
Developed by playwork experts, our qualifications provide the skills and knowledge that everyone who works in play is expected to have.
